When William Keck, Sr. began repairing electric motors in his garage in order to win money for his family, they has been offering businesses, little and big, with a great product together with excellent service.

This family company turned into a totally developed enterprise when William, Sr. started his electric motor repair shop working whole day on Bluff Street in Joliet, Illinois during World War II. The company went on developing in the years after the war thanks to their dedication to much work and excellent quality, and in 1954 JOLIET Equipment Corporation was established. By this time, William' sons, Jack, Bill and Norman, were operating the firm which specialized in motor sales and repairs.

The Keck sons and grandsons kept to joining the family company and it turned into what is now a state popular provider of high quality new and second-hand electric motors. Now taking over 100,000 square feet of the American Institute building, situated on the corner of Doris Avenue and South Chicago Street in Joliet, Illinois, the firm keeps on flourishing because of the commitment and the experience of its workers.
