The others were too cold on manner, rude, too busy to pay attention or care, or too eager to separate me from my money. When I stepped into this office though, I felt warmed and welcome. Dr. Karotkin was friendly and informative. Unfortunately they did not take my insurance, but it didn't matter to me. The difference in customer service and the result was completely worth the price difference and the drive. Janie, Freddy, Judy, Juanita and everyone handle your teeth with care, and have nothing but smiles to offer you when they greet you. I had previously seen another orthodontist who only offered an invasive method to straightening my teeth. I consulted with a dozen orthodontists in Houston and NYC over the last two decades, and I finally felt comfortable with Dr. Karotkin and his team. They listened to my concerns and goals, mocked up my potential progression, gave me lots of options, gave me the hard facts about what was and wasn't possible, and even asked my wife to attend consultation.
Two and a half years later, my braces are off today and I am blown away by the results! I haven't had jaw pain in 18 months (my primary goal), but I am super impressed at what Dr. K was able to accomplish after decades of neglect haha. I have to remember not to hide my smile anymore!
On top of the amazing results and partnership in health, my visits were always easy to schedule and started on-time, featuring a busy but friendly team, with an amazing soundtrack.
10/10 recommend! Especially if you're on the fence as a non-teenager.. I've seen lots of adult patients come through. You owe it to yourself!

Need an orthodontist that takes his time to study your case and knows what's possible, while doing an amazing job? Look no further Dr. John Karotkin knows and makes you feel comfortable during the whole process. He's witty & wicked SMAHT! (As we Bostonians) say it. I have enjoyed being a patient and will miss our monthly appointments. The staff is amazing , wicked cool ! They know what they're doing. Very organized office. I've been in dentistry for the last 29 years and I'm super impressed with this office. Great job guys, continue to be Awesome!
